We engaged AAAGS services for a KDR. From the first contact to the completed works Matt went above and beyond each step of the way. He was professional and provided exceptional customer service consistently. Matt was in constant communication with us, flexible when things didn’t go to schedule and assisted in managing neighbouring concerns with the handling and removal of asbestos. His price was competitive and our land was handed back tidy and clear ready for the builder to start. I highly recommend his services!Posted on Google![]()

This is the second time we have used Mat and his team to demolish a house for our proposed build. Each time Mat has been extremely professional and delivered exactly what he said. Our builders even commented on how good the site was left after demolition. We will be using Mat's services again for our next one.Posted on Google![]()

Mathew and his team at AAAGS Demolition went above and beyond for us today, demolishing a garage that had asbestos and removing all of our surrounding rubbish for us. We had many texts and calls in regards to the job and Mathew was always willing to help. We just moved up from Sydney and found AAAGS on line with no previous knowledge of any demolition companies. Would highly recommend AAAGS ,thanks again, Kathy and BrucePosted on Google![]()

Asbestos Removal Central Coast FAQs
It depends on the type and amount. In NSW, removing more than 10 square metres of bonded asbestos, such as fibro sheeting, needs a Class B licence. Any amount of friable asbestos, which is loose and crumbly like old pipe lagging, needs a Class A licence. AAAGS Demolition holds both and is insured.
Homes built or renovated before 1990 may contain it, and you can’t tell by looking. It turns up in roofing, wall sheeting, floor tiles and outbuildings. We start with an onsite inspection to identify asbestos-containing materials and give you a report.
Asbestos in good condition that stays undisturbed is generally low risk. The danger starts when it’s cut, drilled, sanded or broken, because that releases fibres into the air. There is no safe level of exposure, so stop work if you disturb something suspect and call a licensed professional.
Bonded asbestos under 10 square metres generally doesn’t need a licensed removalist, but SafeWork NSW still recommends using one for any amount. Handling it wrongly can release fibres, and the waste has to go to a facility licensed to accept it. Hiring a licensed team takes both problems off your hands.
We begin with an onsite inspection and a report on any asbestos-containing materials. Next we put together a removal plan that fits your property and keeps disruption low. The asbestos is then removed and sealed to stop contamination. A final inspection follows, and you receive certification.
Cost depends on how much asbestos there is, what type it is and how easy it is to reach. A few fibro sheets on a shed and a full roof are very different jobs. We offer free quotes. Call Arthur on 0417 677 128 or Mathew on 0451 436 559 to arrange an assessment.
Licensed asbestos removal must be notified to SafeWork NSW at least five days before work begins, so it can’t happen the same day you call. Your start date also depends on the inspection, the removal plan and site access. Contact us and we’ll talk through your timeline.
Asbestos waste must go to a facility licensed to accept it. Dumping or burying it is illegal, and penalties can apply to both the property owner and the transporter. We handle transport and disposal to NSW environmental requirements, so you don’t have to arrange it.
A final inspection confirms the area is free of asbestos, and you receive certification. NSW rules require a clearance inspection after licensed removal work. For friable asbestos, a licensed assessor has to carry it out. Keep the certificate with your property records.
Yes. We work on houses, commercial buildings and industrial sites across the Central Coast. On commercial jobs we aim to keep disruption to your operations low while meeting strict safety standards. Call us with the building type and the materials involved and we’ll explain how we’d approach it.
Yes. Asbestos generally has to come out before a house, garage or shed can be knocked down, and we do both. That includes knock-down rebuild sites, so one team can clear the block for your builder.
